Overview
A 16th-century Mughal garden, painstakingly restored, sitting beside Humayun's Tomb with a dozen lesser monuments rising out of the lawns. Bougainvillea tunnels, a lake, peacocks, and old men doing tai chi at dawn. The most quietly beautiful place to do nothing in Delhi.
Bring a book and a flask of chai, find the rose garden mid-morning, and stay until you lose track of the hour. Skip weekends if you want it gentle.
